Acupuncture Integrations of Sturbridge (formerly Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of Sturbridge, or AOMS) is committed to quality holistic healthcare within the community. Each of us has the potential within to evolve and become more whole. Our capacity to do so may vary during the different stages of our lives, with many factors being involved. When one is open to change and committed to being present in the process, our receptiveness to healing grows. It is our hope that the services provided may play a part in helping individuals improve their well-being and sense of health.
It is our belief that the integration of Oriental Medicine with Western Medicine is the future of healthcare for the 21st Century. Bringing these two very different models together results in a more balanced healthcare system. We believe that although many conditions are treated with Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, it is important to view this care as complementary to western medical treatment, not just as an alternative. In certain cases you may be referred to seek the care of your physician.
